After a night of blowing off steam with friends, my head is paying the penalty. I have a throbbing headache, and my donor area is screaming in pain. This resulted in another night on the couch.

Day 8 – I Spent WHAT on my Hair Transplant?
8 days after hair transplant. Today I opened my credit card statement and went into sticker shock when I saw the total cost of my hair transplant. I evaluated different opportunity costs of where I could spend the money. But this is an investment in my personal growth and self-confidence. After the shock, I realized I have crossed the tipping point of pain and finally feel rested for the first time in over a week.
Day 7 – Redrum
7 days after hair transplant. I'm beginning to go crazy. The sleepless nights are mounting. Even with the sleep deprivation, I'm still diligently following my regimen.
Day 6 – Phantom Water Torture
6 days after hair transplant. The sleepless nights and soreness continue. I wish I could affix tiny cameras to monitor the progress. I've begun to troll the Internet, trying to find pictures of how I will look with 2,800 grafts.
Day 5 – It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint
5 days after hair transplant. Five days after my hair transplant, I'm getting anxious and impatient. I continue to follow my post-op regimen and am healing well. However, I'm uncomfortable, tired, and can't wait to take a real shower.
Day 4 – Back to Work, Back to Reality
4 days after hair transplant. Today is my first day back to work since my hair transplant. After another sleepless night, it's going to be a long day. I'm also nervous about how people might react to my hair, so I'm trying to find ways to hide my head during my marathon video conference calls.
Day 3 – Itchy and Scabby Scalp
3 days after hair transplant. Starting to move around the house and being mindful I don't bump my head or bend over too far. My head is beginning to itch, and the donor area is painful.
Day 2 – Managing my Hair Transplant Post-op
2 days after hair transplant. Wondering if I did enough research before taking this journey. Took my first shower today and washed my hair. I continue to sleep upright, use the Liposomal spray, and follow my post-op directions.
Day 1 – First Day of Post Operation for my Hair Transplant
1 day after my FUE hair transplant. I have to sleep at a 90-degree angle, the donor area is painful, can't use my CPAP machine, ice forehead, and spray head every 30 minutes with Liposomal ATP spray to promote healing.

The second half of the day, Dr. Josephitis's team works diligently to relocate the extracted hair grafts to their new home.
