Introducing The Hair and Now

The Hair and Now Logo

Many of us face a head of hair today, and tomorrow it’s gone. The Hair and Now provides a personal account of my journey towards regaining my lost hair.

An industry valued at $4-5 Billion (USD) means thousands of people are trying to capture a piece of your scalp.

With hordes of options, resources, and advice, I slipped in a coma of analysis paralysis, trying to determine my best option. There was no way I could comb through all the possibilities before all my hair falls out.

Message boards, reviews, and advice from others online offered glimpses of results or the finished product. Most people don’t share many details or make recommendations. They fear retaliation if others have a different experience. Also, it’s challenging to sort through legitimate personal experiences and contextual marketing. Many message boards and websites are marketing platforms for hair loss products and services.

Who are the people motivated to post reviews online about their journey? Those with positive or negative experiences? I feel those with negative experiences are more likely to post their opinion. In real life, it seems like no one talks about this topic. Personally, I know of 3 people who have had some type of hair loss treatment, but it’s never discussed.

What we need to remember is there is no perfect decision, except for picking winning lottery numbers. We learn through and reflect back on what we would have done differently. Hopefully, we have an opportunity to course-correct, if not we apply those lessons in the future. This is a terrifying prospect when choosing treatments for hair loss. Our hair is visible to the public and ingrained in our identity. We can’t return the end product if we don’t like the results. Also, the results require tremendous patience and time. Patience is not a common trait in our modern world, where we demand immediate gratification.

To help others with their journey. I want to share an honest view of my hair loss journey and provide insights into my psyche. Did I make the right decision? I don’t know. What would I do differently? We’ll find out together.  Was it worth the time, money, and patience? I hope so.

I haven’t received money or services for any of the products or services mentioned in Hair Tomorrow. Review the Disclaimers page for more information.

I hope my experience helps you with your hair restoration journey.
